in case you are wondering...no job yet. grrrrr
Instead I have to put up with the some new shit at the old place. The higher ups in all their wisdom have created a program that will "improve customer service". Basically I have to help out a customer, then give them a "card", they inturn are to give it to the casher when checking out. This card puts me in the drawing for $50 every week. Cool...no problems there...but wait there is more. We now have weekly quotas, which if not filled get us written up. The quotas are set by some lame ass who does not work the floor.
The problem is that there are too many holes in this fucking pogram and the higher ups are to ucking retarted to realize it. Ok #1 it is up to the custmer to try and remember to turn in these little cards. #2 the casher cannot ring up their own card, which means when I help out a customer that wants to buy a TV I cannot ring them up or I can ring them up and they have to drop the card off at the service desk. #3 the cashers are pissed becouse they do not get that many chances to help out a customer so they could just throw out the card if they wanted to. #4 this in no way actually judges if we helo out the customer, it only judges if they can remember to turn in a card, I say this becouse in an effort to not get written up we have people going around collecting these cards and turning them in without buying anything.
There is more but I am tired and want to sleep now
