Today was a good day.

First of all, I didn't sleep through it, like I have the past few thursdays...thank god my schedule is leveling off lately. I didn't even have to worry about jury duty, cause we covered all the cases yesterday.

Second of all, awesome things were aquired today...

Ah...ten movies by the masters of the 70s and 80s kung-fu movies, the Shaw Brothers. Hours of entertainment right there...semi-slow motion martial arts during the fight scenes, the sound of chopsticks breaking for special effects every time a chop or kick is done, bad voice-overs where the characters keep moving their mouths for like a minute after the dialogue stops...it's like I'm ten years old watching saturday kung-fu theater all over again.

And they're steel toe too. I've been needing new boots for a while and been putting it off.

Picked up STP, Blackstar, and Massive Attack cds too, cause you can never have enough music.

And best of all, I now know what I want my next tattoo to be of...I just have to figure out how I want it to look and where it's going, then I'll be commissioning the amazing artist sporkii to do the artwork...hopefully I wont drive her too nuts with it.

The only downer was the weather...rainy and a little cold all day, but hey, no big deal.
