Hi all!
Finally got a little rest and I figured I\'d get something done on my page, so I added an album of my tattoos (well, except for my tribal band which was impossible to get a picture of on my own).
The words written around my ankle, \"But I have promises to keep/ And miles to go before I sleep\" you may recognize...they\'re from Robert Frost\'s \"Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening\". The poem has always been a favorite of mine, and the lines hold an importance to me.
In fact, all my tattoos represent an aspect of myself or my life. Some I knew from the moment I planned them, others started as a design and over time I figured out what the meaning behind it was. I\'ve explained some of them on my myspace blog, but if you want to know about any of them drop me a message and I\'ll do my best to explain.
The only future plans for ink that I have at the moment are:
a ring of water around my left ankle to balance the flames, most likely with lines from the Tao Te Ching underneath it.
three chess pieces, drawn slightly cartoony, on my right shin...a knight, a pawn, and a king.
...but I never really know what the next tat will be...hope y\'all like them.
