today is the last FULL day in tokyo.
we went to kyoto, hiroshima, osaka, and okayama (to visit the boss) and rob got to see all the japan stuff he didn't see last time. Besides the one very rainy day, the weather has been excellent and rob loves the country a million times more than he did last time.
I spent a great deal of time looking, and pining after, puppies. I love puppies.
today is Cocoichiban for curry, loft/tokyu hands for boxes and packing materials, seibu for omiyage and probably pierre herme for gifts for the future in-laws... and me, of course.
we have to stop at the post office tomorrow to send it all before we head onto the plane.
then, the 2nd, bank to get a cashier's check. 3rd, post office + Oakland for house inspectors.
soon we'll have a house we own, a puppy to care for, and 5-7 years of stability. after years of not living in one place for more than 6-8 months, I think it's a nice change - albeit frightening.
