today is white day.
for those of your who know Japanese random holidays, today is basically second valentines.
Valentines is celebrated on the usual day - Feb 14, but it's the day girls bake and give gifts to boys. Either their lover or friend or coworkers, doesn't matter - it's girl to boy. WHITE day is the day that boys return that favor a month later by giving bigger and better than they received.
At our house, we celebrate both because I'm still holding on to Japan in my heart - and so on Valentines, I made dinner for him and a friend, and other things... He bought me sushi chocolate because he's a darling and didn't want to do nothing on Valentines.
So today is my day. Although... yesterday was pretty awesome.

So I may have been an absentee SG friend for like, uh, a year (really the last time I updated regularly), because last I remember your fellow was not the bestest dude in the world. Is this a new beau? Or the same guy who was living in Japan with you? Do not mean to be pushy.
