Has anyone else noticed Mars, the planet being rather bright and red in the summer sky lately?
I had googled it and read about it supposedly making a close pass on a "science" web site but thanks to Isadore, I guess it is a sad hoax. What assholes. If I had gotten an email would have been one thing, but you'd think a top hit on a google schence page would yield the right information.
Anyway, sorry to pass on bad information. It still has been very bright nd red in our summer sky and lovely to look at since it is one of the few stars which shows up in the night sky with all of the light poloution.
