I'm really pissed about this whole house thing. I think the lawyer will straighten it out on Monday and we will probably be ok, but I guess I don't really know. I was reading online that some agents do this, since they are not obligated to provide any proof of another offer, as a way to try to extort more money from buyers. Wow, is all I can say about that. That is pretty low. This isn't exactly a "starter home", our deal was very fair at only 7K under asking. We started out offering a full 25K under asking.
But of course the bullshit has been consuming all of our time and making my school work SO much harder to concentrate on. These are my home stretch classes, the ones I was putting off which I'm now taking in 8 week format. The ones I didn't want to take but have no choice about anymore. 10 credits in 8 weeks is a LOT of work, it's like 20 credits in a normal semester. Argh!! I have like 1 week left in one of my classes and 4 chapters still to do. And it is SO boring!! Here I am wasting more time but it is mind numbingly boring. Especially when I have other stuff on my mind.

BTDT, never having a real estate agent represent my interests (buying or selling) ever again.
