OH MY GOD!!! I am LIVID!!! There is some ethically corrupt bullshit going on with the house we are buying. Our offer was accepted, we accepted their counter, we sent in signed accepted contract on Wednesday. We have inspections scheduled etc. Now, AFTER this, another offer came in, AFTER they accepted our offer, after we sent back signed and agreed and $5000 in earnest money, they are now telling us another offer came in today and we need to resubmit highest and best offer. This is not even ethical!! It can't be legal, we already have a contract!!! We are already under contract. I'm so fucking livid right now. I'm calling the real estate board, the association of Realtors, the brokers and everyone else I can think of.
Oh, and I called my lawyer. This is not right. I can't believe this.
And it's a ficking holiday so everyone is out!! ARGH!! I spent years looking for my dream house and now I'm going to either have to pay more for it or lose it, after I had it under contract?
