I'm trying to win a $5000 scholarship through Upromise. There is a photo contest and I have entered a photo.

There is a "Skip No Thanks" button at the bottom which will allow you to not have to divulge a lot of personal info. You can sign up with only an address and phone number. It is a free and reputable thing though.
If you are not a member of Upromise it is worth signing up. When you shop with certain retailers they donate a percentage of your purchase to an account in your name which just saves up money to pay off existing student loans or future school money. If you have no kids, nieces, nephews or student loans then let me know, I'd be happy to let you make me your beneficiary Anyway it really does add up. I have $350 in my account since May and 4 times a year they direct pay my student loan. I never knew what it was and could kick myself for never having signed up before.
