Guess what..... I have the yard cops parked in front of my house again right now. This is THE CITY, I do not live in an association neighborhood. It is THE CITY, and they are here again. And the sad thing, my yard is not bad, there are no overturned cars, nothing up on blocks, all plants somewhat recently trimmed, everything alive and growing, sidewalk swept every week, planter areas "yard vacuumed" to get any leaves out, my alleyway is weed whacked somewhat regularly and so on, but they are back. When I can throw a rock at 10 places that look worse than mine.
Argh..... The quantity of fights and upset THIS one thing has caused in my household is enough to make someone feel justified in murder, I swear. It is like stop messing with me, you are affecting my relationships with the people closest to me and that is the most unfair thing of all.
The real irony of it is, they wanted me to replace my brick paver parking area with gravel (god knows why, apparently brick PAVERS are not listed on their list of approved dust proof parking, though it says "Concrete, pavement, asphalt or gravel." and I sincerely believe pavers are in fact made from concrete and their NAME SAYS PAVERS, implying paving. I don't get it, but I conceded and since I needed gravel for my back yard I moved the pavers last night and will pave the area around my pond and had 12 tons of rock delivered this afternoon and the yard cop car is blocking the place I wanted to gravel dumped, so instead the truck had to maneuver around my driveway. Stupid yard cops, fucking neighbors who keep calling. This is SUCH harassment and apparently legal. All someone has to do is go online and anonymously report people and then the city sends out a yard cop who tickets you for whatever the neighbor complains about. If your neighbors don't complain the yard cops will never come. I am the only one on my block who this happens to. I am so fucking mad, why do they think they have the right? I'm a mom, I have a couple of other 25+ year old people who live with me in my 4 bedroom 2250sqft house, we don't have parties, we don't make noise after 10, we totally mind our own business. Why do they think they have the right to keep bothering me? I have never done anything to anyone.
And just so you all can see what I'm talking about, here it is. The yard of doom. A disgrace, isn't it?

The best thing you can do is go down to your city council meeting and pitch a bitch, that is your forum to fight back.
