does anyone know the specifics on baby fat
i believe there might be baby fat on my cheeks.
maybe it's from cramming too many food items in my cheeck when i was young
because i was nuts.
\
reminds me of that character from catch 22
who would shove small apples inside his cheek
and that was all he cared to do at that moment.
anyway. this is all irrelivant to what i intended to post.
i wrote this, about utah my home
.
As i was driving back home from slcc near the top of the hill up past uintah, the sun completely blinded me-- the only thing i could make out was small dark shapes that were presumably other cars.
On the radio was this song, with a chorus of people singing " i woke up today and everything was simple " it seems like that's all anyone truly wants these days.
that moment was simple, i could hardly see.
And then after clearing the bend, with it burning my eyes in the horizon-- obscured by its own intensity-- i wondered; what makes that sun burn.
How amazing is it that a gigantic continuous ball of flames that lasts for millions of years is right there. growing all our plants, and bringing things to room temperature.
earlier, I talked to a pregnant lady who wouldn't be hired because of the anticipated maternaty leave. an obvious breach of womens rights.
She said it was this state--
I found out the owner of coffee break doesn't hire anyone but heterosexuals. Seems to me they're an equally strong part of our human family-- and worth preserving the rights of.
Again, it appeared to be this state.
I understand co2 emitting vehicles have many alternatives, which we're seeing none of, aside from the liberated on bicycles.
and just next year we're at deaths door.
the power of the people to change anything lies simply in knowledge and disobedience--
as iran is currently experiencing the turmoil-- with the big shots next move is just hours away
if anythings peculiar to "this state"
it's the fact that people are most tired of this shit.
and stepping out of line would be of the most courageous
to the 15 dead in iran it's clear to me;
that to put your life behind what you believe
is simply the most dignified thing you could ever do
and all those quotes from brilliant people in the past
the ones that make you feel like you're back in school
seem to be bridging generational gaps
leaving us growing and changing like plants under the sun
with them are the keys to making things right
and simple.
like that sun,
that refuses to do anything but burn
we know what's right to change
so lets let the good things spread like fire
so simple anyone can start.
