Great news!! Heat Wave Honey was selected as SOTD! Woot woot!!
this set was extra special as it was my first time shooting w the famed @caustix and I was hopeful it would be well received. FUN FACT: did y’all know I actually **twice** asked @caustix NOT to submit this set? I know I know....honestly when we shot the set I felt very uncomfortable in my own skin. It was right at that sweet spot in summer when I was indulging in beer for breakfast+fast food for dinner—yum. Needless to say I felt “fat” whatever that means. And that feeling stuck w me. When he sent me the set I thought oh no...my poor diet will be on display for all to see😔YIKES being a human is so hard sometimes!! Clearly, my thoughts were consuming me and distorting reality a bit.
Thankfully, @caustix knows what he’s doing. He expressed confidence in the set so I went along with it. And wouldn’t ya know it, this is my MOST LOVED SET to date☺️I guess what I’m trying to say is self doubt, for whatever reason, is a very normative part of life. We all experience it at one point or another. It’s important to have people around you who really care and can see your potential...especially when it seems obscured from our own POV. Thanks for all the love on Heat Wave Honey we will see you in FP very soon ;)
