That's right. I fought hard against the humidity here in Chicago, and it finally won. No more shall I fry my ends off brushing, pulling, and flat ironing every damn day. I'm done I tell you, done😆.....at least until it cools off and I'll prob switch it up again☺️But for now I'm loving it!
It may not seem like much, but wearing my hair naturally curly used to be a source of insecurity for me. It was hard for me as I so desperately wanted to fit in and clone w all the other "Beckys" with "good hair". Anywho, enter adulthood and my hair has become a source of freedom. I practically change styles with the seasons! There once was a time my hair was all black.....
Then purple....
Then pink highlights for my debut set Waterfall Playday....
Incoming my braids phase haha, first purple....
Then shades of hot pink....
Then a 1/2 half pink purple.....
Back to a pink blend for my second set Think Pink....
Those braids were FUN but damn were they heavy haha. I missed my own hair. Soooo, back to that I went. And of course, pink. Cause duh. Are you seeing the pattern here yet?!😉
Whew! Point being, I love expressing myself with hair. I've always loved adding to it in so many ways, but I have a newfound love for it in its most organic stages. Trying new things can be fun!! Our lives as a whole are greater than the sum of individual parts. So get out there!! What are you waiting for?! Mix it up😜What have u tried that's new in your life?? I'm currently thinking of changing colors. As you can see, I'm loyal to my pinks/purples💕Any suggestions for a new color for me? I'd love to hear them☺️
