Hello beautiful community! Hope you're all well. currebtly I'm enjoying villa life in Phuket, Thailand☀️
There is zero tv watching for me as of now....although in 2 weeks I'll resume my zombie like addiction like many of you and as such, I'm so excited for this weeks blog topic! I should start by saying that I, midnightsun, am addicted to premium cable. I'd be lost without Cinemax, Showtime, and bless the God's for HBO🙌🏾here begins the list of faves...
1. I am Larry David reincarnate. I love his dry, intelligent, realistically offensive humor! The creator behind Seinfeld has me in tears late nights trying to fall asleep w one eye open cracking up as I watch re-runs. This show never gets old.
2. Leave it to a Brit to succeed at giving us weekly factual based news w a comedic twist. He highlights some of the weeks most important issues of the globe often missed by mainstream media....and he's hilarious☺️
3. Take your nerd 1 step further w Bill Maher. Each week a panel has deep discussion on political issues and because it's HBO they say the things we're all thinking, but most news stations won't say. He's funny but very frank and unapologetic in his delivery.
4. Bill Maher's brain child. 30min of hard hitting on location journalism....remember that? It's when reported you see to actually investigate a story before reporting it. Siiggh....I digress.
5. Comedic satire about 4 entitled, spoiled, selfish, oblivious, intelligent, driven, and loyal 4 20something best friends all trying to make it in this crazy world.
6. Literally nuff said. If you aren't watching/streaming this we can't be friends. If you don't have cable....go read the books and pray for your soul😩😭😂
7. Gee Midnightsun, yet another politically based show? Why yes😂Surprise surprise. This one is on Netflix annnnnd the new season was just released. If you need me I'll be hiding out w Kevin Spacey streaming for days❤️
8. I'd be lying if I didn't name a reality tv show. The Voice is the only one for me! It's literal crack, I've even turned my male roommate onto it😅New season just started!
