Hey gang! So excited to share with you guys this weeks blog. The holiday season is coming up and I'm sure that you all have the same aching question on your mind.....what to get an Alaskan girl for Christmas🤔Oh you did?! You guys are too kind. Not to worry, I'll help your decision process go more smoothly☺️
1) Being born in Alaska you learn early a) the price for living in the "land of the midnight sun" is darkness for 8months of the year and b) unless you're a vampire you'd better pick up a winter sport to stay active! I love snow machining, ice fishing, ice skating and hiking w my pups. My true winter love is snow boarding🏂I've ridden since I was 12 and can't go one week in AK without taking my board out. Gift me a lift ticket to Hiltop, Alyeska, or Alpenglow and you've already won this Alaskan girl over. Money an issue?? Not to worry, load up the car let's drive and hike to do some free back country riding💙
2) Its no news that Alaskans don't have any professional sports team we can call our own. What's a girl to do?! Cheer for her team and get her booty to as many games as she possibly can! I've been to 4 Broncos games in Denver, and couldn't pass up seeing them in soldier field 2 weeks ago when I was there. Gift me a ticket to see my boys play anywhere and watch my eyes light up like Christmas🎄Not a football fan? No bother, I love all sports😆
3) If this Alaskan isn't doing winter sports, watching professional sports, dancing naked, sleeping or doing homework....you can bet your bottom dollar I'm out drinking😜A drink or two helps warm the long winter days/nights and can be a serious stress reliever when graduate school is kicking my butt😌Did you know Alaska has the most microbreweries per capita in the US?! Feeling in the mood to buy me a beer?? I'll pick from one of dozens of craft local beer spots to take you🍻
Whew, hope that helps guys!! This blog topic was the bees knees🐝What a great idea @missy and as always thanks @rambo @lyxzen❤️💋💕
