No.. there isnt anything that branches off the anime..no bigger story.. well, not that I know of anyway. Although.. I thought I heard something about a japanese only comic book.. I might of heard wrong though. Kinda short, eh? .. that was a big part of the mystery.. thats how they wanted to deliver it. Everyone I know that I borrowed the film off to has said the same thing.. They thought it too short..and believe Sia could of used more character development .. they still liked it in the end. I, however, Love it the way it is..
