I strongly believe that a person is free to believe in and do whatever they like in life provided it doesn't affect others in a serious way and those views aren't pushed onto others.
unfortunately this isn't the case with a lot of people and to me it's one of societies biggest issues. there's to much "I'm right and you're wrong" and so much judging. So many people judging others because they disagree with their lifestyle choices, appearance, religious beliefs or whatever. So many people telling others that they're wrong.
Of course we're always going to disagree with others and not approve of someone's choices in life but keep it to yourself. Who are we to judge others for how they live their lives? If you don't like certain people ignore them and avoid them. Unless something affects you or others directly and on a serious level where you feel something should be said, there's no need to say anything.
The internet and social media make it so easy for people to voice their opinion. I don't think people realise the damage they can cause via their behaviour online. Years ago a mistake or embarrassing situation someone made would only be seen by the people who were there. Now videos and pictures end up on the internet for the whole world to see.
It's quite sad that we all can't just get along. But that's the harsh reality of life isn't. It's just a matter of surrounding ourselves with people who aren't dicks.
in short, "don't be a c*nt"
