Actually, according to the doc it'll be 12 weeks before he can officially pronounce me "sterile". The procedure went a helluva lot better than I expected. Apart from the three needle sticks (which were no fun) I felt nothing. There's some discomfort now, but it nothing I couldn't handle if I HAD to. So, I'm going to take a couple ibuprofen and follow strict doctor's orders and sit my ass here in this recliner all day. And tomorrow too.
Oh, and add Ativan to the list of drugs that don't do shit for me. Gave me a "high dose" to take before I went it. Apart from a VERY slight wobbliness of the legs, it had no effect on me. I'd have been better off slamming down two shots of scotch before I went in.
