OK, so I'm on an exercise kick. I tried riding my stationary bike after work, and simply could NOT motivate myself. Then I remembered, HEY, I have a real bike in the basement. Got it out, dusted it off, put air in the tires.... I've been riding in the mornings (yes, EARLY mornings, before work) 5 out of the last 7 days.
I hate to admit it because I've been an anti-morning person my whole life.... I love it. I actually feel more awake and energized. I think a lot of it is in my head, but I've already noticed an improvement in how well I can ride my course, how winded I get, and how quickly I recover. Gawd, I'm out of shape.
We'll keep it up and see how it goes. I know I could stand to shed a few pounds.
