building an empire...
I am so excited, there is so much going on at mikey enterprises!!
January has been an excellent month for clubs. Dark Sparkle at StudioZ was huge. People are calling me for lunch meetings left and right. So many opportunities have popped up in the last two weeks it's just incredible. There is just a certain satisfaction to be called into those private rooms in the back of the club. Soft whispers of big plans and dollar signs.
I recieved an email from one of my idols of adolecence. A former member of a band that steered me into the direction that led to all this rock'n'roll lifestyle. He offered to DJ for me on a monthly basis.... and the empire beurgons! The search for the perfect venue, the perfect club name, the format, the logistics.....I LOVE IT!
Divebar.biz is taking on a new role in the SF scene as well. I spent all day today sceeming and planning over the computer keys.
Now than evening is upon us I pick a dashing little outfit, sort out the eyeliner over a tumbler of whisky and hit the town with my fair lady in tow. My appointments are scheduled in dive bars. Networking amongst the thundering subwoofers, red lights and martinis.
No, no complaints here, just me working on building my empire.
