At this point, I don't think my open relationship is much of a secret. Monogamy and I don't do well and, after years of hurting people uneccessarily, now I just make that clear right from the beginning. It's worked out very well, and both of us are very happy with our relationship.
Given that, I want to share a little rule I use to keep from wasting my time with women who are more talk than walk. It's the 30-day rule and I simply give them thirty days from the time I make my intentions clear to the time I write them off and move on. A few have snuck in under the wire, and I made an exception for one person who had some family issues for a while, but in most cases I have blissfully walked away without really regretting it.
Your time is up.

(Seriously though, good rule. I would imagine it would save much time and energy.)
