David Lynch's Inland Empire. What. The. Fuck?!!!
I've loved every single movie he has released. But this one.....I don't know. I love what he did with the digital cameras. And of course the music, soundscapes, sets, design, lighting, and color. But it just never seemed to want to reach a resolution.
I need to watch it, again. But it was such a headache to watch the first time. I desperately want to understand what is going on. How are the Bunnies, polish people, and prostitutes a part of this movie? What is there significance?
Until I understand Inland Empire, I will refer to it as a piece of art rather than story.
