I still got your face painted on my heart...
Okay, fave cars:
1. Porshe 928 S4
2. Hemi Cougar
3. Maserati Quattroporte
4. BMW M6
................
Ever seen a face, maybe walking along on a street....fleeting pass amongst the masses, and you can remember that face years and years later? What could have been, would've been had you just stopped them...

My Daddy and I used to fix cars when I was young. He loved cars, we had Maseratis, mercedes, beemers, fiats.......He had a garage he rented, a whole business spot and we used to go there for days, weekends and mess around with the cars and horses....
When our house burned last year my M6 was in it.. When I was 16 my parents bought me a 1985 L6(635csi) BMW for my sweet 16. It was gorgeous, white leather interior, burgundy outside, 6 disc changer....2 weeks after I got it I drove over a 30 foot cliff, the brake system had gone out for seemingly no reason. My best friend was paralyzed for a year after the accident. I went into shock and wouldn't do anything, go to school, talk, play piano, I would only ride my horses.....So my dad bought the M6. It was candy apple red, white and grey leather interior........it had won the La Carrera long distance race two years running and we had the tapes to prove it. The license plate said: "Mics M6" When I rushed down from LA once I saw on the news my neighborhood was aflame we weren't allowed near the site for days. I saw my M6, only a burnt frame now, sitting on the front page of the San Diego Tribune before I even saw it in person.....

But, there is a point to this....when my daddy and I walked up to the house and we sat there for a moment stunned. My Dad said to me that he would never again work on another car, that he saw no reason for that labor of love ever again when it usually comes to nothing.....
It broke my heart that everything he had worked so hard for came to so little. Those may say, well they were only material things, blah blah blah. But no, they're not, that house was full of our memories. My piano that I learned to play on since 5, all our photos, family furniture, jewelry passed on to each descendent. It sucked.
But the worse is seeing my father broken, that's the worst. That he was so to the point in his life, maybe so old that none of it meant anything at all anymore. I never want to be so broken, so empty. What of the memories created, do they mean so little? My mom was fine though, she quickly found the bottle, hehehe.

Sorry, I'm feeling morbid right now and sad I suppose.
What are y'all's fave cars?
What was your first car?

My favorite car is actually a 1957 Edsel Corsair. Hard top, four door. Cherry red with white detailing and white leather interior.

I'm sorry about your M6, sweetie. I hope your morbid mood goes away and you feel better and stuff. Maybe I'll draw you a cheer up picture? Yeah, I think I will.
