Thank god for virgin strawberry daquiri's and free chips. A man can do well on that alone.
The new job is just feckin sweet.
Even moreso since they have like 10 drawers stocked with candy and tasty snacks. As Mobprod pointed out, there is the lingering, childlike desire to have candy, to eat it, to look at it. It brings happiness (even though I don't eat too much of it these days). But working in a place that has candy always available makes it feel like a constant party. Reminds us that we're grown ups, we're making money, and we can have candy whenever we want. Just one of those little things.
I'll be tavelling to Toronto next month, never been to that city. I'm looking forward to it. And there is potential for London in the not so distant future. Never been there, either. I hope to get in some post-pub brawling with some English blokes and eat Yorkshire Pudding.
On a side note, I found out recently that Whitesnake
will be touring again soon. Hopefully later this summer they will be coming my way. Nothing could glorify the jean jacket days of my Jr High life more than seeing these guys in concert for the very first time. I hope...I hope.

bridget:
My old job kept us plied with candy and beer. Then we lost a show and there was less candy and almost no beer. Then we had two shows picked up and had copious amounts of candy, plenty of beer and some top-shelf vodka in the back of the freezer. I call it the candy and booze barometer.
