LA Update:
So I went to the beach finally. Which was the affirmation of my arrival here- as one of my images of me in LA was sitting on the warm sunny beach with sweat pouring down my skin and scantily clad women running around. Although the actual beach was cool and breezy, and I was sittin there with mobprod watching fat non-english speaking children flopping around in dirty water, I was still happy to be there. The fact that I was a mere 20 or so minutes from the water is awesome, and with summer approaching it will hopefully yeild results closer to my fantasies.
Santa Monica, like Hollywood...has lots of hot women.
Not only am I about 20 minutes from the beach, but there is so much within an hour of me...it's fucking awesome. The Chinese theater is 5 mins, more roller coasters than I could imagine is 30, the saturated American joy of Disneyland in 45 mins...Chinatown in 20 mins, Joshua Tree in a little over an hour. It's great. There's an In N Out down the street and a Russian bakery at the corner.
The day ended with a girl I met online calling me up. Although quite cute in her pictures, she started out the conversation hacking with a gravelly smokers cough that conjured up images of trailer parks and sleeveless plaid shirts. She was the neurotic, fast talking, been-in-LA-too-long actress type and wouldn't stop blabbing about the other dates she had recently been on. I could have put the phone down for 10 minutes and come back and she wouldn't have skipped a beat or noticed I was gone. In the end, I had to tell her I didn't want to meet her anymore, and that was the right thing to do. I think she even LIKED being turned down and wanted me even more. It was tough but I had to stick to my guns on this one. I didn't want to sit through another session with this woman. But don't worry, I was very nice and cordial about it, telling her there was too big of an age gap and I don't date non-religious women.
Then I threw in some porn.
Good to be in the land where all your dreams can come true.
