My good friend "Mobprod" and I went to check out a few Suicide girlies at the SANDY JUG last nite. And boy, was it sandy in there. And salty. And small. And steamy! The girls were shining rays of light in an otherwise lifeless club. Colors were thrown from there limbs as they writhed beautifully around on the floor. They glided gracefully along the stage, with the exception of Veronica kicking over some poor fellows beer all over him. Voltaire was a goddess. And Luxe really blew my mind. What performers these girs are! There has been mention of a more professional show in the works, which I can't wait to see. But I have to admit, I quite enjoyed the small, intimate atmosphere of the Jug last nite. I know it was less than what the girls ideally would be performing in. But I still have a smile on my face today.
Ahhhh. Sweet splendor.
After that show I saw QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE at the Crystal Ballroom. They rocked! Unfortunately, Dave Grohl is no longer touring with them, and I was forced to eat my words to all I falsley announced that too. But the show was great. I love Portland!!!! Too bad I still live in Corvallis! $@#*!

I roundly second your comments. Too bad we had to cut it short, but there will be more opportunities I'm sure.
