So I've been a little absent as of late. Been kinda busy hangin out with a lady.
Jeez, that can sure take up a lot of energy. Satisfying though. Not quite sure where it's goin, but you know what they say....buy the ticket...take the ride. Or...close your eyes and shoot, as a feller once said.
In other news, I saw BJORK.
*moment of silence for the inner cosmic collisions I experienced whilst splendorously being enraptured in musical bliss*
I've waited years to see her live, and she didn't disappoint one bit. It was great. But she didn't come out for an encore, yet alluded to one by keeping the stage dark and motionless for 10 minutes. It was weird. There was no goodbye or conclusion or anything. She just walked off the stage. Should I be offended? It seemed kind of like a deliberate "fuck you" to the audience. What did I do, Bjork? Mobprod seemed to think it was lack of audience appreciation. I think it was sound issues and potential band issues. The world may never know. But a good time was had nonetheless. Although still haunted by the demons of Seattle, we weren't safe until we crossed into Oregon, narrowly escaping the evil vortex known as Seattle. That place is a shadow on the lands of the NW. It's strange. I've given it a second chance, yet it proved it's aberrant disposition once again.
I also just got back from seeing FREDDY VS JASON. Man, what an enjoyable movie. Blood and tits and lots of cheesy one liners. It was well done. Highly entertaining.
Other than that, much procrastinating has been ensuing on the creative/work front. Something needs to happen soon, lest I fall into shadow myself, and lose what small foothold I had on being self-employed. But that won't happen. No way. Well....maybe. No it won't...
