Hey guys! My name is Mia Nyxx and I'm about to give y'all a bit of backstory if you're ready ☺️
I was fascinated with the modeling industry at the age of 12, thanks to Tyra Banks and ANTM 😅. I had my folks sign me up for modeling school so I could get the best training possible and begin scouting for agencies. I just knew that modeling was my purpose and that I was going to be a star one day! If you ask my friends and anyone who knows me, they KNEW me as A MODEL, period! (that's just how much of my life revolved around it). As I got older, and went through several rejections, and realizing that I'm never going to be this 5’9 VS Bombshell, I decided that I was going to create my “own lane” in this industry. I had always heard about the SG platform back in the day, but never really thought much of it during that time, as I wasn't of age to understand. Now that im crossing paths with this platform again, and meeting amazing people, I truly feel like this is where I belong. Don't get me wrong, it took me forever in my modeling career to even feel comfortable having someone shoot me in the nude, but over time it's helped me to love every inch of imperfection. Modeling is just as much of a mental thing as it is physical! You have to know who you are and BELIEVE IT with all that you got!
I'm very thankful for the SG platform and what SG REALLY and TRULY stands for! I love that there is so much love and empowerment within the SG community. The fact that we all have a purpose behind our art and our craft of modeling, makes it that much more special to be apart of something bigger than I could ever imagine.
For me this isn't JUST about being naked in front of a camera, but standing behind a platform that celebrates WOMEN and just how beautiful and special we are! Not a lot of these modeling agencies could give two shits about their people. The industry can be cruel and you are definitely expendable to them. It feels good to say that SG has become “my lane” for me to do what I was BORN to do, which is create art for people to enjoy!!
I truly hope to be the next SG and get to branch out and share my work and passions with others! I can't do this without the support of friends and their encouragement. I'm thankful for each and every person who has blessed me with their kind words and sentiments ❤️
