So I had oral surgery to remove my last two remaining wisdom teeth pulled (top right and bottom left) earlier today. I've been on vicodin since then and still freaking hurt pretty badly. The part that creeps me out is that while I was looking at the stitches for the bottom right one I noticed that there's a cut on my check above where the real incision is. I can't feel my left check, the left side of my tounge, my left lower jaw, and the left part of my lips. I think they screwed up...

But it can most definetly make you numb for a couple days, just from the extraction itself and all the novacain. If youre worried, and still numb tomorrow morning, call your denist. Ask him whats up and what his opinion is on it.
Also, I usually come out of the denist completly numb and not feeling any part of the side of my face he worked on. I get so doped up on novacain, its like that for the majority of the day and well into the night. Also makes me pretty loopy and druged feeling.
If you get the feeling that something sharp is poking it's way out of your gums where your wisdom teeth had once been, don't panic. The same thing happened to me and it subsided.
Of coures, it would have been nice if my oral surgeon fucking warned me about that shit.
Other than than, no complaints.
