The first weekend of Mardi Gras has passed. In Metairie (just outside New Orleans) they celebrate Family Gras. Lots of food a big stage and some family entertainment. That's all well and good for the families, but my friends and I spiced it up with some heavy drinking and smoking! By noon we were all drunk and crazy.
