many many thanks to all of you who wished me well on my birthday, that was really awesome! 
i don't think i've ever had so many birthday wishes, that was really something
my birthday was pretty rawkin' too. my buddy invited me over for a cookout, theme = MEAT and BEER. he even surprised me with a cake, it was awesome. we did a champion job on the eating and drinking, but still have more work to do. i've pretty much been partying since last friday too, mixing my end of the semester partying with my farewell partying (i'm studying abroad for a full calendar year) with my birthday partying.
but now it's time to simmer down and get back to business...i have to move into my summer abode for my internship, and get all serious and businesslike so i can represent my school (and myself) well with the judges i'll be working for.
and on that note, i better start running errands and taking care of business. thanks again to all you well-wishers, my birthday was special because of you
