good grief! this shit is really hardcore.

exam friday, exam saturday, staying up all night saturday and through sunday to study for ANOTHER exam on monday...and then i can start my work on my paper due friday...and then i can start my takehome final due monday...

in the meantime, i'd like to share the away message i put up on saturday while taking my environmental law final.

today, i take my environmental law final. this is a milestone and a huge accomplishment for me. environmental law is the reason i'm in law school.

many of my peers come from excellent pedigrees - the right neighbourhoods, right schools, right extracurriculars, some of them even Ivy League grads. God blessed them with every creature comfort. in that sense, i shouldn't be here.

so i dedicate this exam to the simpler people of the world; to anyone who's missed a meal cuz it wasn't in the budget; who knows manual labour; who works multiple jobs; who skips one bill to pay another; who's ever been homeless; who knows that class & race warfare is perpetrated every day by the power classes; who's ever wished for a way up. friends, i got that way up. so when i take this exam, i represent you...and that is an infinitely larger blessing.
