Today is a good day, it is Friday
. It also one of the rare days this week I have not had a complaint for one of my news stories 
Don't talk to me about the Great British (or Welsh) Public. I need them so I have news stories, but they have a nasty tendency to turn around and bite me on the bum 
Oh well *shrugs* I leave it 'cos, like I said, it is Friday. Cue much drinking of Absolut cos I got paid today! Oh, and I got to do fuck all yesterday 'cos I had Company Induction Day.
Oh my, that was fun. It was like a school trip to a newspaper office 'cos we got to see the Chester edition of the paper being printed and received keyrings with the newspaper name on (I kid you not, tho it's not replacing the fishy thatSpinDizzy got me
) Apart from that, I used the opportunity to get high on too much coffee and sweets and got told off by the head of Human Resources for giggling at the company's "no downloading porn" rule.
In other news, Neo should have got published yesterday, so Trigun fans rejoice! I have reviewed your beloved show. Just don't ring me up and complain or I'll put you on hold

I now have the ability to avoid Friday Night Is Music Night on Radio 2 with a newly installed cassette deck in my car, whoo hoo! Thanx goes to SickNote for offering to help install a CD deck 'tho. I prefer my tapes 'cos it means I can listen to stuff I haven't heard in 5 yrs
And apologies to everyone who hasn't heard from me for a while- I've been so busy you wouldn't believe. What with writing, planning my 1st tattoo (to be done in December ) and sampling Romanian homebrew I have had little time to even paint my nails/ frighten pensioners. Sorry y'all!

yaknow I must admit as much as I like SF and Anime I've NEVER been to a con? (hangs head in shame)
Cool idea for the tat - I've decided what I want is some variation on the cover of the very first SF book I ever bought ("Skylark 3", by EE "Doc" Smith) I just gotta figure out where to put it on me.
The new place is a 3 bedroom rowhome with a rooftop deck in "Brewers Hill" in Baltimore, MD. It's alittle far from where I wanted to be but it's a quiet street (for all that it's a major through road) with plenty of parking (I just drove by about 20 minutes ago and parked right out front. Cool!). It's got a full basement I can ALMOST stand up in, 1 bathroom (booo!), no central air (boo!!!), a rooftop deck and there's a bigass catholic church/school on the corner. The rent's a BIT more than I wanted to spend but it's OK, I think/hope.
I'm not moving much, my clothes, my old captains chest (antique sorta thing with a burlwood veneer - it's nice), my futon, and possibly my old bed. I think my parents are gonna kick in a TV since they've got a spare one and I'm gonna use my computer to be the "media center"/DVD player/stereo/etc.
