well, i'm back from spring break. it was a good week, all-in-all. hectic from constant travelling back and forth from philly to my hometown in the country (an hour drive), but i'm used to that by now. my birthday was fairly uneventful, but fun. thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone!
we got the new snake... she's in rough shape, the poor thing. it turns out that her head was injured a while back, which resulted in a fractured skull and extensive surface damage to her head and eyes. we have no idea how it happened, but she was treated awfully in general. it was left untreated and infection got to her bone, and there is actually deterioration of the bone. we don't know if she can see, or if she'll ever be able to eat. she's going to get a month-worth of antibiotics and TLC, and in a week we're going to start offering her food. if she can eat, it'll be all good, but if she can't, we'll probably have to put her to sleep. it's so sad. she's such a sweetheart. we named her stella, she's a boa constrictor like my other snake, and it turns out she's only 7' not 9', but she isn't done growing yet. say a little prayer for our new girl!
this weather is so unbelievable. it is 66 degrees here! that never happens in march in state college! yay!! happy st patrick's day, too! double yay!! the town is insane. it's a college town, so of course it's insane, it's an excuse to party and get drunk all day. and the weather is helping. i think me and sean and my girl darcy are gonna head to the cafe later to grab a frosty green pint. i don't like beer, but i feel obligated, ya know. well, everyone enjoy the day! it's kinda good to be back. i guess.

Congrats on the new reptile... I'm sure you'll give her a great home and she'll recover nicely from her traumatic past. And glad to hear you had a good break and holiday and all... email me a cheesesteak sandwich when you get a chance lol...

I love that area down there. I don't often get that far, but I come close when I go out to media to see a show, or visit my friend on his boat out in ridley park
