metamorphosis

i need a vacation so damn bad. ARGH! i just want things to slow down for one week so i can catch up...
solly seems to be doing well, his breathing doesn't sound any better yet but he's been active and alert and he ate. all good signs. now i have to go home and see if stella will eat, because she's been on a hunger strike for some unknown reason. i really hope she's not getting sick, because these vet bills are gonna kill me. these snakes are as expensive as children! well not really, but whatever.

life is pretty good, other than incredibly hectic. my job interview went very well on tuesday, and now i have another one in 9 days. i REALLY want the job, and i'm quite qualified for it. it's within the company i work now, and everyone i work with has given me such good recommendations that they'd be fools not to hire me. or something. i just want it because it'll be good for the long-term and it pays real well. i just want to know SOMETHING. and to know that i have a job, no matter what job. then i can relax [a little bit] and concentrate on wedding planning. it's always something.

whiskey sours and vodka shots with cap'n bryn, her madam, and her mad russian counterparts makes for a nice friday night. mmmmm yea.
