i haven't been around in forever. our computer has been broken, and i just now got up the nerve to access the site on my mother-in-law's computer. i just can't stay away. well i got my car back from the body shop monday morning and drove it to work... and when i came out of work at the end of the day, it wouldn't start. the key wouldn't turn in the ignition. so i tried absolutely everything under the sun, and ended up having to call a tow truck. so sean came to pick me up and we waited for the tow truck.... for 4 FUCKING HOURS AND IT NEVER CAME. so we went home [me hysterical, of course] and he took me to work the next day. i called a tow truck after work on wednesday and luckily it came somewhat on time. but the garage [at the dealership where i got it] is swamped at the moment and isn't even going to have a chance to look at it until monday. and all of their loaner cars are out, so i have daddy's big pick-up truck til my car's done. yee-fuckin-haw. at least people give me respect in that monster. i am so fed up with this car shit though. when is it going to end???
my tattoo is doing well, it's almost completely healed. i'm almost satisfied with it... but i have come to the realization that i'm not going to be completely satisfied until it's a "full" half-sleeve [it doesn't go all the way to my elbow yet; it covers what a short-sleeve shirt covers]. but it'll serve me for the next 9 months, and then after my wedding i'll get it extended [to appease my parents i promised no new ink until after the wedding. it was a compromise because they were trying to talk me into covering them up.].
the warped tour wasn't nearly as much fun as i expected. sean had to go to a funeral in the morning, and then traffic was a bitch, and then parking was a bitch, and then everyone involved was a bitch... so we got there late. we wanted to see the dropkick murphys most, and got there just as they were playing their last song. bastards. but i did get a hot DKM tank top & hot pants set. maybe i'm getting too old, but i just didn't enjoy myself there. people were SO STINKY. i wasn't aware that being punk rock meant you couldn't shower or use deodorant. for the grace of god. and there were too many teeny-bopper 13 yr olds there. but whatever butters your bread. the suicide machines, rancid, and me first & the gimme gimmes all rocked. i was really looking forward to seeing less than jake, but they were one of the last bands to play, and i just couldn't take it anymore, so we left. i think i'll stick to the small shows from now on; this mass-produced stuff is for the birds.
hopefully our computer will be fixed soon so i can visit more often. but with my luck, as soon as it's running, our internet will go down. or the electricity. it's always something...
love to you all
