One week before I take my yearly trip to Newfoundland, sort of looking forward to it. I only get to see my folks twice a year.
The peace and quiet, the atlantic ocean at my door step (literally). Certainly need it.
This weekend was much needed after working 50 hours this week plus 57 last.
So nice being done Christmas shopping, I always do it in mid November. Only thing I don't like about christmas is the cutting down of evergreen trees only to throw lights on them for a week or two then throw the tree away. It's weird that all year long I see/hear people protest about cutting down trees though then christmas comes around nobody comes around being against cutting down evergreen trees for Christmas. There is my rant for the day, just something that has been on my mind lately.
I recently changed my diet lately to try and eat as healthy as possible, most food that I have read helps with abs and stuff. I've been working out since I was 15, used to work out to get big but now the opposite. However I was always looking for 6 pack abs, the kind I had when I was a kid. As soon as I get back from Newfoundland I am going to start shopping at SPUD.ca and try to eat organic and such. Unless anyone knows a good (and cheap) place to shop for organic food in the Metrotown area all I got is Superstore which feels like going to a Communist grocery store. Doesn't help that everyone seems to want to run you over in there, not even setting foot in there now during Christmas.
I should talk to a trainer but I am too stubborn, always got to find my own way of doing but I must say I am on the right track for once.
Currently reading Tao Of Jeet Kune Do, quickly becoming my favourite book, not reading it to learn Jeet Kune Do per-say (though if I wanted to learn martial arts, Jeet Kune Do would be the only one I would want to learn) more learn the spiritual side behind it. Doesn't hurt that I can now perform a proper kick (or at least more proper) than I did prior.
Bought a Sega Genesis & Sega CD recently. I don't play video games much anymore but every so often I feel like playing old games, prefer them over what they have now. Plus I grown up on Sonic The Hedgehog games and I always wanted to try Sonic CD. Today I will
