Finally back from newfoundland. Have two new years resolutions, tried to keep them simple.
Make my film this year (for anyone who has followed this brief thing called a blog or a cry baby towel as it was a few years back) and be more confident which sort of goes hand in hand with the firs tone because i need that to finally get it done. Too long i have let it sit int he back burner.
Just funny I was Newfoundland and seen little to no snow (in province known for getting blizzards sometimes) and just getting rain, land in halifax for 30 minutes and still just rain, stop in toronto and some snow, then go back to Vancouver where obviously no snow just rain.
I miss snow, I am probably only one of the few who actually loves minus 30 weather.
Got the last season of TAXI when I got back, watch one or two episodes a night, want to savour it as much as possible. Watching TAXi got me over a few rough patches a few years back, sounds silly but when I was pretty shitty for some strange reason I picked up the show at the library and and cheered me up, its stupid but true, About time they released the last two seasons.
Got back to the gym, haven't hit it in 2 months because of work doing 50 to 60 hours a week. Hopefully this will be a long patch of no overtime so I can get a good stretch of gym time in me.
Probably the two best films I seen on the christmas break was 500 Days Of Summer (one of the best 'chick' flicks I have seen in a few years) and Inglorious Bastards. I usually don't like to kiss Quentin's ass like man people i know does but I haven't had much fun watching silly violence since well Kill Bill Vol 1. Brad Pitt should do more comedies where he goes against his hollywood image. Nothing beats Burn After Reading Though
