So back in september, i found two dogs roaming around my neighborhood. They were very friendly and stuck by one another. They appeared to be well fed, but at the same time they seemed to have been on the streets for a while. So i took them in (was real easy, super friendly) while i searched for their owner. One, whom i called dozer, was about the size of a welsh corgie but looked like a APT. Really strong, but just LOVED attention. He was forceful with his love, but was a lot of fun. The other was a little fluffy terrier whom i called scruffy. He looked older (turns out bother were under 2yrs old) and was the dominate one. Both were FANTASTIC in the car when driving around.
Well i had them for about two weeks. In that time, i discovered they were quite dehydrated and starving. Fluffy did not like pooping or peeing outside, whi h frustrated me. Meanwhile, dozer did the same but only in the beginning. Once we got on a schedule he was fine.
However, all ready having a dog and cat, i could not keep them. I would not bring them to the pound as the ones around here are kill shelters. I turned to my local HSPCA and after some convincing (since they werent mine technically), they took them in.
(^Dozer got attached to me and was waiting when i came out of the HSPCA).
After being treated for worms and both having their nuts snipped, they were taken care of quite well. I visited them twice in the ensuing month. However, i became busy since then. Well, over the weekend i stopped by and it turns out that both were adopted in november. Im so glad for themthemand hope that their new families enjoy them as much as i did.
