So, wtf has been happening in the past few months? Well, shortly after my laptop took a shit, I had gone to play paintball in a charity event. Randy Couture's Xtreme Combat Weekend. The event helped raise money for Couture's GI Foundation. It was great! Staying true to my style, I went shirtless for the whole game, which this time 'round was a bit more painful due to the fact that the paintballs used had a harder shell so they could get through the thick brush. However, it didn't deter me from charging into the middle between the two sides to plant our flag!
In the end, my efforts paid off. I had won MVP for the event and taken a lot of pictures, including getting a shot of Randy Couture getting shot in the face. The three day event included a fight night with future MMA stars in the Tuff n Uff league. THen there was an after party. Needless to say...I got shit faced. Which meant the next day SUCKED to be running in the sand and under the blazing sun, but I still dun it. I have plenty of pictures from this event, some of me, but a ton that I took.
Unfortunatly, my camera also took a shit a few weeks ago. I have no fucking clue how it happend, but the LCD screen cracked out big time. I never use it, so I tried switching to the view finder as I normally do...but it wouldn't work. The electronics were shot.
So now I need a new fucking camera.
Oh, and during this time, my phone had taken a shit, too! The screens decided to turn blank or freeze up, and then it took a 3 story tumble and one of the hinges snapped. At this point, I was totally livid with modern technology. The paintball event had taken a huge chunk out of my bank account, enough so that I was uber negative. It was only last week that I finally had a full paycheck in the bank, which enabled me to buy a new phone, new Hard drive and Windows 7. And all this a week before I am supposed to leave Vegas. Blah.
What a shitty few months. I'll have some pics (and a video I edited) from the paintball event up soon.
