Hello, Hola, Oi, Ciao lovely ladies and gents of SG land. Hope your having a great time wherever you are. It has been a lovely morning, Cat and I made some waffles with some fresh fruits and fresh squeezed guava juice with sausage I made using mama Carrera’s spice blend. My mom is coming out for a visit next month for Christmas which is exciting I haven’t seen my mom other than FaceTime convos, so it will be nice to see her in the flesh. Cat will be meeting the rest of my crazy ass familia. The Red Wings have been playing good hockey, while the Lions are playing for a draft pick because they definitely aren’t going to have a winning season. I played my first hockey game of the winter with the hockey club, still a long ways off from playing in a league. The game was fun, Cat was a great support plus she looked stunning in my Steve Yzerman jersey. I sadly let in two goals, one which could have been saved and the other was a deflection which I had no chance.
There was no interesting music at the record store this Friday.
Today’s subject is Ghoul. Hailing from Oakland, California the thrash metal quartet. Which started in the early 00’s. The group is a concept similar to Gwar with masks and characters. The ghouls hail from Creepsylvania they are cannibal grave robbers who skateboard and listen to thrash metal. They have various enemies throughout the story line.
The next record Maniaxe saw the introduction of the first nemesis the Ghoul hunter and his creation Killbot.
The Ghoul Hunter creates Killbot to destroy the ghouls. The ghouls end up destroying the Ghoul Hunter and Killbot when they blow up the hunters lair or so they think.
After the events that saw the end of the Ghoul Hunter, a cult dedicated to the hunters work rises up to finish what the Hunter started.
The ghouls find a mutant in the catacombs where they live, the mutant mutilator befriends the ghouls and helps them fight the cultists, who have resurrected Killbot and give him new weapons and the thawed brain of Walt Disney.
The ghouls Do battle with Killbot and lose. The cultists take over Creepsylvania. Making the ghouls go into hiding.
Seeking their revenge the ghouls free a circus attraction that the cultists have found and are torturing. They find the destructor who helps them defeat the resurrected Killbot.
The Ghouls encounter a new enemy in Baron Samedi and his device the mezmetron.
The ghouls encounter a group of surfing cannibal motorcycle riders and their leader Kreeg.
After the destruction of the cultists and Baron Samedi Creepsylvania was taken over by Commandant Dobrokum a fascist ruler.
This is the name of the fan club and definitely a fun song when they play live.
