Its been a tough, wierd week. I guess that toughness and wierdness is following me into this week, too.

I'm feeling REALLY lonely lately. I dont know if its breaking off my 6 month relationship, or just feeling overwhelmed with school and work, but I'm feeling like I dont really have anyone I can talk to this year. Katie is off in Spain and all...

- Keeping yourself busy is actually the best thing you can do right now IMO...if you stood still long enough to ponder all of the downfalls of your semester so far you'll go to bed in tears. No one wants that...

- I'm sorry you had to break things off w/ your gal...no matter what the reason those kinds of things are always hard especially when you've spent most of your personal time w/ her frown

- School tends to kick everyone's ass no matter how easy or hard the classes may be. In other words: Time consumption...yet it's a positive any way you roll w/ it...

- Possible ideas for a ceramics project:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

- A Teapot
- A plate w/ some of your favourite geometric shapes painted in primary colors
- A Mask to hang over a door (for halloween) like Frankenstein or Micheal Myers
- Effigy vessels (South American inspired of course smile )
- drink coasters (and you can glue on some felt on the bottom so they stay in place)

- ....um...I'm out of ideas right now...all I can think of off the top of my head

- I hope you can have a chance to photograph some of those folks (especially Ozzy and Rob smile )

LF's freaking out that The Colorado Rockies are going to the World Series...I think he put up a thread about it on A.N. Boards...Ha Ha!)

Fucking FINALLY, I'm 21.

Friday night was a crazy Wilde Party, Saturday was Monterey (aquarium, fisherman's wharf, sunset on a beach) with my mommy, Saturday night was a PJ Dance Party at my house, Sunday was SF for Cuban music at Yerba Buena and naked men at Folsom St. Fair, and today (Tuesday, Oct. 2nd) is my real BIRTHDAY and will be celebrated with a...

I, completely randomly, got my septum pierced today. I was complaining to a friend about how badly I wanted to get it pierced, but couldn't afford it, and she goes "I'll buy it for your early birthday present." So we went down to the studio together and she got her nostril repierced at the same time. Todd at Industrial is pretty freakin' awesome and the...

John Kerry was answering questions at an event at University of Florida. The student started asking some pretty scathing questions and security flipped out.

So im finally settling into my schedule.

I moved into my real room with my real roommate the other day. Its a lovely room and my roommate is super chill with a wicked sense of humor. My house has the most amazing food. And the veggie options are often much better than the meat, so I've decided to try and go vegetarian (or at least...

Today is my first day of class. I had Spanish this morning at 11am and got scared shitless by the fact that everyone seems to be a native or heritage speaker. frown We'll see if this lasts...) In about 20 minutes I have my Politics of Latin America discussion...

I'm super busy with work at the Gender Equity Resource Center as well as facilitating the Queer...

- Sorry about Spanish Class: When you start telling stories about what you did this past summer I'm sure most of them will STFU! mad

- Wow you got a house in your 2nd year? You lucky dawg! I didn't move out of the dorms 'til my 3rd year!

- Open relationship? Nothing wrong w/ that when you want to enjoy your college experience. If it's meant to be monogamous, it will be when and if you're ready for it...and with the right person (not necessarily who you're with now, that is). Life is what you make it and lately you've been making good ones, so I'm psyched for you Morgy!

- I'm tired and stressed as well...it's a friggin' pain trying to jump-start my life again after loosing a shitload this year. I have my fingers crossed for you to have a kick-ass semester. It's great to hear from you

So I crashed a big Microsoft party with my brother and sister in law tonight. I ate yummy free food and drank free drinks. We sailed to the party and back.

And to top off this great night, I came home to see that I'm on Modblog!

Morgy...you have such a great presense in the ModBlog site. You're such a kind soul & you're an inspiration to many using your summer to help so many others. Bless your heart! As far as the Microsoft Party: I'm jealous as a heart attack...even though their products constantly need to be patched frown

Hola Companeros!

Hey ya'll! I'm back in Seattle! My trip back was relatively uneventful (I barely made the plane at LAX) and I got into bed around 1am on Tuesday morning. It's good to be home and have access to a hot shower and mattress for the first time in a week!

I went to a meeting at UniTierra on Thursday night. The meeting was...

- Sometimes it amazes me how you can do so much in such a small period of time. You obviously put your your heart and soul into the activities you were involved with down there..and they were extremely lucky to have had you and your classmates.

- I like that area of the country (Seattle, that is...specifically west across the sound in Bremerton since I have relatives there smile )...good Scandinavian cafes in Ballard...and the time I got completely shitfaced in Dubliner? I forgot the spelling...all I remember is the patch of road w/ my puke all over (but I didn't mess up my shoes biggrin )

Welcome back. smile

T&S were adorable live. Though I missed the first 40 minutes of their show due to them not having an opening band. I am a little in love with them right now. And yes, their new album is awesome, they played all their new songs. I need to get it.

Hola Companeros!

So the past couple of days I was in Palenque, a place about a 5 hour bus drive north of San Cristobal in the jungles of Chiapas. I went with my friend Liz and we arrived on Monday afternoon and checked into a little hotel in a town called El Panchan on the outskirts of the national park. Monday afternoon we went into...
