And now an update!

I flew into Seattle last Wednesday and almost immediately got onto my brother's boat. We sailed up to Victoria and arrived on Thursday afternoon...Friday I went to Butchart Gardens with my momma, and Saturday morning at 10am we started the Swiftsure race. The race was pretty chill- Nothing too crazy happened (except for breaking the spinnaker halyard..) and we ended up finishing first in our class!

We sailed back on Monday, returning to Seattle around 8pm.

Now I'm home, attempting to recover. Sailing is hard on your body! I feel super sore, but the experience (my third Swiftsure!) was lots of fun.

So I'm back in Seattle until June 11th. I'm pretty sure i have a job lined up for me when I get back- Either with the Transgender Law Center or with United ENDA. Woo!
