We got SECOND PLACE! They fucked up the times but it turns out that we're second in our class and tenth overall. We were only 11 minutes behind the first place boat!

In other news, I decided not to take the job at Children's World. Not my cup of tea. Instead I'm gonna volunteer tutor twice a week, help out in the Washington GLSEN offices, help facilitate a queer youth group, babysit my nephews for 6 hours a week, do some photography and help my parents unpack. I'm also going to TRY to get to New York at the end of July. We'll see!
I'm gonna enter an art show for the local art festival here. I'm gonna try to take some new pictures and enter them instead of putting my old work in. It'll be a good experience.
Man I miss my Berkeley pals. A LOT.

sure I'm game! Lemme know though cause I have no car at the moment as we got rearended last weekend & pushed into an SUV...not sure if my insurance is gonna total the car or not-but if it's nice enough & my whiplash is gone-I can always ride my bike. Have a great weekend!
