# of "OH SHIT!" moments: approximately 9. Seven while we were stuck in a tidal rip with about 50 other boats, two when our boat overpowered and tipped over about 60 degrees.

# of whales spotted: about 10 Minkes spy hopping, breaching, etc.
# of hours on the boat: approx. 33.5
# of hours I slept: about 4
We got 3rd in our division and 11th overall.
Pretty good race, actually.
