well, yes, i think i just want a break from the old people. dopn't get me wrong, i love the elderly for the most part - but living next to people with dementia, you start to actually lose your own marbles after a while.
yeah, i discovered i weas happier outside the UK pretty quickly - as much as people who visit sweden are like 'oh, it's expensive', i think everywhere is nowadays, and i don't find it that more pricey here, it's just that - with groceries for example - they don't really have the budget lines of products that we have. you know, supermarket's own brand of stuff - cans of beans for ten pence and such (student food the country over).
i'm going to go down to stockholm the end of next month, on my own i think - stay a night so i have two days to just wnader around, go to bookstores and stuff. should be fun. in the meantime, the houseguest. . yeah, i have no idea what to expect. frankly, she's talking about dressing my girlfriend up in drag, so. . . *raises eyebrow* who knows.
anyway. i hope you pick up with your writing again soon. i suspect it might do once you get to italy and settle in - travel, and new places tend to be inspirational in that sense, as is being happier with your surroundings.
