whew! what a long weekend. i was awake entirely too long. friday i passed up foo fighters tickets to rest, drink, and smoke b/c i knew what was coming up...
saturday afternoon, my father, who has just come in from La. calls and asks me to come to Easter brunch on the Queen Mary. "yeah sure! i haven't seen you in over a year...of course!" then he tells me what time and i have to leave for there at 6:30 AM. nice!!
saw the Notwist and Themselves saturday night. was good...i like the recorded music more i think though but the noise was certainly there...and i looove the nosie. they played for an incredibly long time too so i have nuffink to complain about there.
brunch was fine...the Queen Mary is pretty cool. if you can make it Long Beach you should check it out at least.
after brunch, etc. i made it home to celebrate my roomy's b-day (which is actually today) and then to see Schneider TM and Les Savy Fav open for the Faint. i met a girl who saved my hearing at a Pretty Girls Make Graves show w/ a couple Equal packets a couple weeks ago... again, i didn't ask for her number though. what kind of idiot am i?! show was great...Les Savy Fav are sooooo good!! the faint? you ask...ahhh, i left. needed rest more than new wave on this night.
whew!! back to work, or something resembling it.

nonchalance:
Hey, glad you found some food for thought in the whole 'black' thing. It certainly makes you think, but hey i'm a graduate student and thats my job!
darkskyy1:
