One of my favouite authors is W. Somerset Maugham. He is a superlative writer of short stories. Any collection of his short stories would do. He also has some wonderful novels. You might want to have a glance @ "The Razor's Edge".
Also like Graham Greene. Try "The Heart of the Matter" or "The Quiet American". He also has some wonderful short stories.
Let me know what you think. Any suggestions for me? I'm always looking for good books. Cheers.
