That Damien Rice stuff was really out there. Sample lyrics: "annnd I tuurnnn to myyy eskiiimmoooo frieeennddd." .. followed by him looping the sound of a spaceship landing.. I didn't get into it. Everyone else thought it was amazing, but seeing him up there acting a fool was not doing it for me. The music is really .. I don't know.. Corey described it as intense.. but i'm pretty sure that's not the word for it. It's a little immature which reflected the fact that the crowd was very young. Also, everyone thought he was hot. No thank you! I like my dark-haired tall guys!
In other news, there was a really young child who was looking at me through the glass of our store like two seconds ago. He was directly opposite of me, so i waved. He kept spinning around and giggling to himself and waving. It was hilarious. I think it's so cute that he thinks that beyond the potted plants in the mall-- if you search far enough-- there is a waving woman sitting on the computer, giggling.
