I'm a fucking punkass and I need to get out of the house.
I to visit the evil International Centre at my school so I can withdraw from that godforsaken place, then lunch with Lycoris.
The former... I'm not exaggerating. I'm very polite and eager to please and avoid problems in professional situations. They always treat me like I'm being aggressive and demanding special attention.
This is the basic template for my interactions with them:
Meridon: I don't understand how this particular policy works. Could you clarfy/explain?
International Centre person:: We can't give you special treatment! You need to follow the rules like everyone else!
Is it because I'm American and they assume that I'm pushy and rude because of it? Do they just not like my face?
One time, I need a copy of my transcript and the woman on the phone was screamed and hung up on me. That's not professional behavior at all. It's gotten to the point where I avoid interacting with that office at all costs. I was so afraid of going in that I was able to get a liason from the Human Rights office to pick it up for me.
In short, don't attend this college in Toronto that I'm refraining from naming directly for various reasons.
As for lunch with Lycoris, I'm totally stoked. She is so incredibly awesome and will no doubt make my sucky day rock. Go you, lady. Go you.
